Chris Blosfeld, Director of Sales, MTech Systems USA Inc. As a founding member of the world's leading solution provider for the Protein Industry, Chris has spent nearly two decades partnering with the poultry and swine industries to develop, improve and deliver innovative software solutions that help improve performance and profitability. While implementing in farms, feed mills, hatcheries, plants and live production offices in nearly 20 countries, Chris has helped transform poultry data into actionable intelligence for production companies. Currently, as Director of Sales for the global market, he focuses his daily efforts on helping expand the systems depth to cover emerging needs of the industry, while ensuring that protein producers enjoy significant input in the design and functionality needed to navigate the cyclical production cycles. Dr. Bowes graduated in 1987 with a DVM from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Ontario, followed by an MSc in Avian Pathology in 1988. She has been board certified with the American College of Poultry Veterinarian (ACPV) since 1992 and has recently finished her tenure as is the Western Director of the America Association of Avian Pathologists. Dr. Bowes has spend the last 28 years employed at the Provincial Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory in Abbotsford, BC as a specialist pathologist with expertise in Avian Pathology. The disgnostic casehold involves disease investigations in all species of birds (wild, pet, zoological and poultry). Dr. Bowes has been directly involved in the detection, outbreak management and industry recovery efforts for 4 outbreaks of notifiable Avian Influenza in the last 10 years, and prefers to no longer talk about it.
Ben Green began his career at Cobb-Vantress, Inc. in 1999. He has worked in numerous roles throughout his tenure at Cobb which include: Hatchery manager for two different GP hatchery facilities in Georgia, Live production manager in Kentucky, Director of Cobb Internal hatcheries in Arkansas with responsibility over 9 hatcheries and technical support to Cobb Grandparent hatcheries in Europe. In 2014 he bagn working in the World Technical group at Cobb as the North American hatchery specialist serving customers across the North American continent in a customer service role.
Benton Hudson obtained B.S. and M.S. Degrees in Poultry Science from Auburn University in 1997 and 1999, respectively. In 2003, he received a Ph.D. in Poultry Science from the University of Georgia. His graduate studies focused primarily on broiler breeder nutrition and feeding strategies. Since joining Aviagen as a Nutritionist in January 2016, Benton has been responsible for the nutrition of U.S. pedigree, great-grandparent (GGP) and grandparent (GP) stock. He also provides parent stock and broiler nutritonal support to U.S. and Canadian customers. Prior to working with Aviagen, Benton held the role of poultry nutritionist with Tyson Foods and Zinpro Corporation. He currently lives in Hanceville, Alabama, with his wife (Erin) and two daughters (Ruby and Edie).
Martin Rishoj Jensen works as an independent consultant for poultry producers and integrators as well as equipment suppliers. Main focusis optimizing live production by improving bird management and optimizing equipment and data management. Mr. Jensen has 30 years of experience from broiler farms, hatcheries, feed mills, equipment sales and R&D. He started his own company in 2009 and has work experience in Europe, Asia, Middle East and lately also North America.
Dr. Marie-Anne Paradis obtained her DVM degree from St. Hyacinthe Veterinary College in 1981. She practiced 2 years with an integrated company in Quebec as a swine veterinarian. She then joined Elanco and during the first 25 years she was involved in areas such as research, regulatory and technical services for both poultry and swine in Eastern Canada, and since 2010, for poultry only across Canada.
Bachelor of Science, Agriculture Engineering and Master of Science - Poultry Nutrition & Management from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. Ph.D. in Poultry Nutrition and Biochemistry from North Dakota State University, Fargo, ND, USA. Chairman of PSA Informal Nutrition Symposium committee. "Poultry Science Association FELLOW" for his distinguised contribution to the field of poultry science. He is on the review board for a few scientific journals. Mamduh believes in multiplying the learning ability for people so they can achieve their ultimate goals and make an impact on others to do the same.
Dr. Roberto Soares, DVM, MAM, ACPV - Is currently the Technical Services Manager of Ceva Animal Health Canada. Roberto is originally from Brazil where he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Santa Maria Federal University (UFSM). He started his professional life as Poultry Veterinarian working for Sadia (BRF). A couple years later, he was accepted in the MAM program at Rio Grande do Sul Federal University (UFRGS). He worked for 7 years for Ross Breeders in Brazil, as Veterinarian in charge of the Biosecurity Program in the Grandparent (GP), Great-Grandparent (GGP) and Pedigree farms, and also as Production manager of GP and Pedigree operations. Roberto worked with Vetech Laboratories in Canada as Technical Manager and with Aviagen Inc. as Poultry Veterinarian for North and Latin America. Before joining Ceva AH Canada, Dr. Soares held the position as Head of Veterinary Services in Ceva AH Asia, based in Malaysia.
