Dear Colleagues, Friends and PSIW Attendees,

Welcome to the 43rd Annual Poultry Service Industry Workshop.

The committee focused this year’s themes of the workshop on food safety, animal welfare and how to reduce our reliance on antibiotic in the poultry production. Most of us are in one way or the other connected in our daily work with one or more of these areas as they are overarching our industry. We believe we have chosen topics and speakers that will provide inspiring messages and provide new ideas for your daily tasks.

The workshop runs from October 16 to 18, 2018, in the beautiful setting of Banff National Park at the Banff Center. At this location you not only have opportunities to connect with students, colleagues and friends in the industry but also experience the amazing nature and scenery that Banff National Park offers. Don’t be surprised if you are greeted in the morning by deer crossing your paths on your way to the meetings.

The Poultry Service Industry Workshop (PSIW) has become one of the leading poultry workshops in North America. We are proud of the fact that we have speakers from Canada and around the Globe investing in our Canadian Poultry Industry. We believe that a great conference develops over time. This is a result of solid speakers, combined with a well thought out program, Key Partnerships with Sponsors and a majestic location contributing to great success.

We are excited to have another Awards Banquet where we will honor fellow Service Persons for their current and past contributions to our industry. We have a great evening of entertainment and fun planned to create comradery and enjoyment for everyone, surely to make you build new friendships and enjoy an evening together.
